$0.50 does equate to 50 cents in the 'rest of the world' right? ----- I occasionally see these "make $0.50" threads on DP (example), and can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would jump through so many of the necessary hoops to make a crumby 50 cents. If I went to my local shops with 50 cents, I'd be lucky to find ANYTHING that I could buy. What exactly can you buy for 50 cents in your country?
$0.50, that's about £0.25... Which is nothing, you could buy maybe a couple of sweets. But in Africa, India etc - i'm sure it's worth much more.
Which is exactly what I'm itching to know. If you can afford a computer and an internet connection (anywhere in the world!), then surely 50 cents is the equivalent to a kick in the nuts.
50 cents = 20 rupees = 10 cucumbers No idea why people jump, and it's not just at 50 cents- I've seen posts for 'a QUICK $0.08, in Paypal, NOW!'
maybe people just need for first payment to a new account like me it's gonna be my first payment through MB LOL
Great example ... the currency of the cucumber is accepted world wide EDIT: I'm so stupid and naive. Are people using these pathetic transactions to boost their iTrader 'scores'?
Ocean Also gets Full By Drop By Drop Of Water........In Other Words...By Collecting 50 Cents You Can Reach $100 Or More One Day Thnaks
Burger and Softdrink - that's a meal. 10 Cucumbers, that could be a days food (okay you'd want variation, but you know!) You see how you get alot more? People do mainly do it to boost itrader, yes. But those little $'s clearly could add up to something in other countries. You DEFINITELY couldn't get 10 cucumbers in UK for £0.25, so there you have it! And people in china etc work for a mere few $ a day, so earning that easily is quite a big deal for some I imagine.
Hehe... I'm going to start buying cucumbers from India, shipping them to the UK and charging half price
I've seen threads going for "click this link for 2 cents". They're out there.. My only question is who pays the paypal fees -_-
