    Have your directory made money from the new PR updates?

    Before the google Pagerank updated,
    the highest bid amount on my bidding directory is $18,
    now it is PR4 and the bidding has increased to $45.

    I think that its unadvisable to make reference to Mr G as that is not and will not be the reason why you have these new results

    Read around this category thoroughly before you make statements that may indeed come back to haunt you

    This is not a warning as its none of my business but it makes common sense not to mention Mr G as they have nothing whatsoever to do with Directories

    Read this thread below as a starter to guage how many/read most Directory Owners feel about 3rd Party Ratings

    Not much changes for my general directory, just got decreased by 2-3 sales per week.

    And for bidding dir, after PR update i made about 25 sales..

    my pr went up but i put my prices down because i know alot of website owners took a big hit on their revenues in last month or two because of the worry about link sales and all the rumors etc about buying and selling links.

    actually i have not earn enough money for the site cost,
    i used around $300 advertising fee to get pr4,
    now the totally bidding amount is only $200+
    hopefully it will get higher bid in the next two months...

    Yes it was a good update for me too, seems that people are focusing on bidding directories now instead of general ones.

    you were cost 300$ in advertising and you have allready make 200$
    and you have highest bid 45$ and you are not satisfied?
    mine advertising only cost up to 1000$ and mods and design up to 500$
    and my highest bid is 15$:eek:
    eitherway good luck with your site and i am sure if your advertising was around 300 will be reached very soon.

    my site has picked up,but i dont attribute any of it to GG..i just have a nice nice,good review prices and is well promoted

    the main point is how you use the advertising money,
    sure i will spend more for remain the PR.:)
