Grindhouse was great, but the best movies are just coming to theaters now. "Before the Devil Knows Your Dead" and "No Country For Old Men" both look amazing, although they probably won't be coming to a theater within 100 miles of my house, so I'll have to wait for the DVD. Wristcutters: A Love Story has also done very well at the film festivals and I can't wait to see it. It's also out now, but so far only in NY and LA.
Was going to say 300 but that was last year. Hot Fuzz and Transformers are probably the best movies i've seen this year.
I have no clue... didn't have much time in 2007 to watch movies... even though I have tons of premium cable channels... 2008 will be different... 2007 was GOOD to me and now I can afford to take more OFF time... plus I also just last week joined Netflix 3-at-a-time program... LOL I'll take movie name notes from this thread... and watch their trailers on Netfilx to see if I want to watch them... (if they are available there) this year sure has zoomed by... nearly the middle of November already... ~DomainBELL (Patricia)
The Bourne Ultimatum was very, very good. I really enjoyed that movie. Transformers was good, graphics were amazing but storyline could of been better. I really enjoyed Spider-Man 3, good little final movie of the current series. Hot Fuzz was a really weird movie, really, really funny but full of really random action. Outstanding movie. I really can't choose.
The Bourne Ultimatum was definately my favourite movie this year. Then again, there hasn't been a joson bourne movie that I haven't liked yet. I would definately reccommend superbad as well, I watched that last night. Like a few of the other posters though, I didn't like hot fuzz - I love Simon Pegg but he should stick to TV stuff like spaced!
The building that he runs into at the end... where Megatron is chasing him? Have been in that building several times, basement, roof... throughout. Old Michigan Central Station, built 1913, closed 1988. So my vote of course, being from Detroit, is Transformers as well, hehe...
