I think google knows enough about your site without google analytics....analytics will just tell them what the visitors do on your site....they already know about the content, how visitors got there and if they didn't find what they want and returned to the serps
For someone acting like a smart***, your not to bright are you? Yelling at someone trying to help you.... who's the n00b here? Red coming your way.
This is a totally stupid thread. Google analytics is the best way to track hits, traffic, conversions, etc and best of all it's free. My only fear is that they are going to get us webmasters addicted to it and then try to start charging for it. Anybody remember how Yahoo Personals were free pre-1999, then once they had a huge user base they started charging $19.95 per month? I have a totally sneaking suspicion Google's going to pull the same deal with analytics. BUT.... I have 61 sites in Analytics and in Google Webmaster Tools, so if I had to pay $20 per month to manage all of them, I'd fork over the money in a heartbeat. I run my own dedicated servers (and host a bunch of private accounts) and I don't need the extra processing juice used to run webalizer or analog or other logfile analysis tools when Google has the best statitical breakdowns I've ever seen.. I've weaned all my hosting clients off analog or webalizer to Analytics. Let's just hope it stays free.
Well, if you afraid of google then don't use Analytics. I know a guy who used to buy pop-up traffic. After installing analytics, he got banned in a few days... Go for Awstats.. I don't see how we can help you if don't provide more information
Why in two months Trichnosois, some type of disclaimer? Analytics installed site saw a drop from pr4 to 0 sitewide, and serps are still whack.
If you are too worried about Google, you should stop using Adsense altogether.... I am serious about this. I have often seen people who took care to use different class C ips for each site, and masquerade their their WHOIS information only to have it all compromised by using a common Adsense account.
I know the answer to your question.. but the fact that you don't know the answer means that you yourself are a noobie.. I suggest that you be polite here, you can read the post count of others before you weigh their response. I remember getting slammed here when I first joined, and I didn't like it. But here is the answer to your question, YES! put google analytics on your site. Don't worry about anything, trust me.
Try to create and put some valuable content that both visitors and search engine will like because obviously someday, someone from Adsense team will manually review your site. If you don't break the Adsense policies and maintain the standards required to display the Adsense ads in your site, you don't have to worry. Your site is already tracked with the Adsense code, so there is no point Google will not know about the site whether you use Google Analytics or not ( in case of content).
Makes sense to avoid analytics if using your own private blog network. why give google more information than you have too? I understand you may want to analyze your website data but there are alternatives that will not leave your money sites or blog network exposed
