Hello, I'm just about to launch my new project, Zyas Directory ... some comments would be very helpful and maybe some improvement ideas. The directory is the first to offer promotional videos for all the listings. This is something new, isn't it? Here are two detail pages rakCha Directory PagePower As you noticed there are no third party measurement tools on Zyas, no PR, no Alexa...no other tools... We will try to set up a top traffic directories list which is something pretty unique I would say. All we require is a screenshot of your last month traffic so if you have nothing to hide please feel free to add your directory to the Top 50 Traffic Directories List. More details on the list page I would like to believe this list will become an useful resource for everyone looking for a quality directory that delivers traffic. I was expecting another directory but i was wrong. I saw a nicely designed site with fresh content. You have some good video skills but the video didnt really explain much about the listed site. It'll also be a pain for you to keep it up with so many listed sites. You'll be very busy. Best of luck
Thanks Pete Still a lot of work to be done...the idea is to do something different....let the directory have its own personality Mikey...that's not a National Geographic documentary to explain in one hour everything about the site and it's not a top professional promo. Usually a good video ad goes over £1k...who would be willing to pay that much? Thanks for the wishes
I was perhaps pre-judging the video based on other video sites. If you check danielmillions.com, he reviewed zorg links after i submitted. He had special software to film his desktop and him browsing the internet. He also commentated whilst browsing around the site. However if the videos arnt the main feature, its not a problem
I know the software you are talking about but that's pretty useless when it comes to do this. I don't do video reviews here, but short promo ads which is quite different

I think Forplex tried the videos on detail pages first. But I see you prepare videos yourself for the listing owners, don't you? In Forplex, submitters upload their videos.
wow, that is a really cool concept. I know that it was attempted before, But you really have put in a lot of work on your directory. Good Job
I like the spin of the video for promo better than that of review. Creates some excitement and I just submitted my site.... Lets see that video.
Nice move, I like changes made compared to a common directory. Video feature is really cool - Rakcha got a cool P.I.M.P. type video

nice work Loredan, and thanks for the video for rakcha. I got a submission with a deeplink to a youtube video, so I added the embedding here but I am not allowing video submission yet as not many will use the feature. I won't be making the videos myself also as I don't have the skills
