Does anyone buy on ebay?

I'm a little nervous to do so. Has anyone did, and if yes, explain your experience .

 

I don't buy on e-bay but many people do, I think it must be safe as e-bay is major action site.

Luckily, all experiences have been quite positive.
Just be sure to read over the seller's feedback and see what others have said about him/her before making your purchase. Someone else with better feedback might be selling the same item or has good feedback with a better price so take your time looking.

 

I've had great results, I think I have only ever had one problem where the seller lost note of our transaction, and as such the delivery was delayed. However it all turned out positive in the end. Just do some research on who you are buying from, and if you have any questions contact them before you bid.

Don't be afraid. Just buy from a buyer with a lot of positive feedback and you're good to go

 

No, I've heard too many horror stories. A friend of mine bought a historic souvenir for a few hundred dollars, and got an empty envelope in the mail. He's trying to get the situation righted, but it's been a few months so far.

I buy stuff on ebay too. But i would be cautious about buying electronics (fragile) stuff on ebay.

 

i buy and sell lots of stuff. i bought 2 guitars, guitar pedals, and other random stuff. Just make sure to only buy from ppl with good feedback (90% positive) and at least around 75 reviews. The lower the number of reviews the higher percentage feedback they should have.

ebay also has protection....

 

Buying on eBay is safe - as far as you know whom you deal with. It's better to deal with trusted sellers or someone you know personally. I'm kinda regular buyer and seller at eBay.

Yes, I buy and sell at ebay. Its just a matter of knowing who you are dealing with.

I buy and occasionally sell. All i can say is; if you are a seller, ignore all users that bid on your items with little to no positive feedbacks, because they won't pay you.

 

i never sold on ebay, but does ebay allow sellers to ignore a bid ?

 

yeah you can...set buyer requirements..

i have sold and bought on ebay...been occasiaonlly scammed...both as a buyer and while selling, unpaying Bidders..its real crap..but life goes on..its fun bidding

 

I never bought anything from ebay but I manage to sell something. I think I was lucky at that time because I never sell anything (zero feedback) and the buyer trust me enough.

 

It is pretty safe to buy on eBay for the most part. As others have said, just check the feedback ratings. I have bought and sold on eBay, with no problems.
