Can I put adsense on Movie link sharing website ?

I am having a forum where people share rapidshare links of movies. I can't see anything against google TOS as nothing is stored on my server so I guess I can put adsense.

I can see atleast one Alexa 600 site who is using adsense and shares movie/TV Shows links uploaded on rapidshare. Can someone tell me from his/her personal experience what google thinks of this ?

if the movies are copyrighted Then No

 

They consider it warez and will ban your account once they find it. I dont see any point in taking chances with the account.

 

I have no idea what google thinks of it... But I do have the similar situation on my site.. Where members (not site team) share rapid share and megaupload links... I don't see what's wrong in it we don't host it on our servers. To be on the safe side we don't allow the members to post live links instead we tell them to post in quotes or codes...

 

if the movies are free to use then why not? lol but if not, i'd recommend not going with it since it can get you banned, then u'll be even angrier

Yep! I believe you can use the adsense in this case but definitly a big no when the movies are not free ones as that will considered as warez.

You are enabling copyright violations... essentially theft, and you say you see nothing wrong with it???

have some respect for property, people, there is a difference between right and wrong in this world, and it has nothing to do with whether you can get away with something or not

 

If you want to use another advertiser try AdBrite. I would not post the links/anything that would help in users downloading movies and keep up AdSense, though.

 

that's not a problem with adsense but widget buck would ban soon...providing link is not warez....as that's file shared bu users.....but never mention warez in the forum...

I am sorry if offended you.. But I wanted to know what if I put the links in code or quotes?? That way live links are not posted..

Linking to copyright content aint good with google.

 

Try adbrite.com or adengage.com instead of adsense. Their policies are far more lax.

 

Please re-read AdSense TOS. Time to refresh on what's allowed before spreading misinformation.

 

No you can't link to copyrighted movies.
