Just because Chavez isnt licking US a** like others, doesnt mean he is bad. People like him, thats the main thing.

Not for nothing, but people really liked Hitler. Being well-liked does not pardon you from being evil.

Issue is Venezuela are flushed with cash at the moment. So he can afford to offend the USA.
Though I find him a bit on the extreme side, it is nice to have someone stand up to the USA.

Aznar, a conservative who was an ally of Bush as prime minister, "is a fascist," Chavez said in a speech at the Ibero-American summit in Santiago, Chile. "Fascists are not human. A snake is more human."

well, I am spanish and, not that it isn't true, but this is something you say at 5 am at a bar when you are drunk, not at an intl summit, dont you think?

NFS, i'm curious. How do you expect the world to achieve peace by fighting a fire with oil products?

The only thing we are gonna achieve is an explosion.

Such a nasty international community with so many rogue leaders like the presidents of Iran, Cuba, Venezuela or North Korea is a blessing to George W. and his supporters.

I'm curious what did Chavez do to you? Is he not in charge to decide whom his country will do business or not? I think he is, thats why he's taking all fields that belong to his country under control. And something tells me this way it will be much more profitable to his country and his people.

They hate each other, Chavez and Bush, so whats the problem, as long as there is no war.

The only thing rogue about Chavez is that he refuses to acknowledge the authority of the American empire.

Before condemning Chavez, it would be wise for folks to read, "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins.

Well done King of Spain! In this respect i do agree with the King of Spain in his decision to tell Chavez to shut up because when one is trying to speak-like the Spanish PM was- it is expected that you adhere your attention to them! Not try to interrupt and interject at every corner!

Chavez has lashed back at the Spanish king and accussed him of involvement in the 2002 coup d'etat against him.

Glad the hear the Spanish king speak up. Europeans need to speak out more against two-bit dictators.
