Myspace. When you comment someone on facebook EVERYONE can see it on your friends list. So really you cant talk about anything without someone else reading it. You cant make your own layout to show off your graphics skills, I like to do that on myspace XD. Facebook has all those applications that just clutter your page. Myspace is so much better. @Shnaz, I think it will be the other way around. Myspace has adopted some of the facebook features already.
Facebook easily eats MySpace. Simply put, it just works a hell of a lot better than MySpace does. Sure there is the issue where you can't change the theme of your profile, no biggie. Think of it this way though, you don't have idjits who have no idea about page readibility modifying their pages to look "sick" by putting almost black text on a black background or vise versa with other colours. There is also less spam which is also a good thing and hopefully it stays like that. Facebooks design is very simple and the site is easy to use and the little ajax items with the pages are also quite cool. Hopefully MySpace adds more things alike into their site (although there is some atm). One important issue though is speed, both sites are very slow at times.
Facebook, it's less sleazy. I don't have problems seeing my friends page because my friends are idiots and got their profiles hacked. And each friends page loads in about the same time.. don't hav eto wait 2 minutes for thirty pictures of britney spears and a billion quizilla quiz results to load.
That's just because your friends don't either, or haven't invited you - it's a viral, sticky thing and once you're in, there's no getting out! It's not a case of casually "using" Facebook!
Very enlightening. Still, keep going, you're almost halfway to your fifty posts and then, riches beyond your wildest dreams!! Actually, I know plenty about using a computer, and I can't figure out what the hell is going on on MySpace.
More of my friends are on MySpace so I use that a lot more. Facebook was good before they launched the Apps thing. People's pages may not be messed up with bad code like on MySpace but it's VERY cluttered with useless Apps which in my opinion is worse than MySpace's problem.
Your right there! Some peoples profiles on there load very slow and even on a fast broadband connection. They lag up my browser at the same time too so it gets annoying. It'd be good if Facebook set a limit to how many applications you can put on your homepage and then have a subpage of some sort with the rest of the your profiles applications.
