Blogging question

For those of you that have blogs, do you all have it so that anyone can leave a comment or do you make your visitors leave their names and email addresses before they are allowed to comment?

I'm new to this blogging thing.

 

Almost all bloggers want the visitors to enter their name and email (optionally URL) to comment...

 

yea but there are so many spammers - if ur gonna enable that i suggest u use some sort of captcha plugin

njoker, I did that when I was creating my blog. Thanx for the advice

 

I just have it so that I have to accept each comment. Then I delete all spam comments before they make my blog.

 

As of now... I am approving each and every comment (except SPAM)... without any verification.... as my traffic is less and very few of them leave a comment... I use Akismet.. it catches all SPAM..

i have it so that i could know what other think about my blog so that i could make adjustment with regards to my post and it is also important so that you would know the quality traffic from your site that reads your posts.
