I have been using adsense for the past 3 months and I've learned a lot from my mistakes. This forum has helped me to such an extent I can't even explain! :D

    1) Try to get a nice topic for your new blog. topnichewords.info/most-profitable-words-most-profitable-business-niche-idea.html

    2) Blend your ads to your site's backgrouund. This will help to such an amazing extent

    3) Place the ads in places where the visitor might click.

    4) Get good targeted traffic

Update your site regularly and post in lots of directories.

Get Digg's and stumbles as much as you can. Try here -

Hope this helps you a bit

    Good tips dude.

    In addition to these tips,

you can write articles which rank high on search engines to get traffic to your site. This will even increase your website' s pr.

Using onlywire.com to bookmark your site from lots(i really mean lots) of social bookmarking sites.

As per my experience, 336 by 280 ads get a great amount of ctr.

Image has low, this I know.. Text is better. And rectangular looks a lot better than square in most cases..

The large square is the best ad to have. You get a much better CTR if you place it in a prominent position.

There's a lot of similar articles like this, no offense. I use different ad formats. Large square for content area, full banner before comments and wide skyscraper for my sidebar.

Good tips dude i will definitely try to blend the ads and put them at the place where more peoples attract as i was using freetemplates so i never think about ad
placement i just edit the pub id given in the template with my pub id and uploaded it;)

now i will try to change the ad placement by own in my proxy site and hope my earnings will be increase.
