Yes, but now Google detects those who change the code... I have a friend who have been warned by Google about that thing...:p

Google has changed the adsense code quite a bit so I doubt this still works. If your smart pricing is really bad you could always replace the adsense with something else for a few days and see if that works.

    I'm testing google_adtest='on'; for these 2 days.
after that I'll try to remove my site from "allowed sites" for the next 2 days.
I hope it can increase the cpm. this is what I'm looking for. I'm not afraid removing pub-id from the codes, I'm not afraid of google too, but when I did that, no ads at all.

When we disable our ads (removing pub-id, putting google_adtest='on';, or remove site from "allowed sites"), impressions and clicks are not reported/counted. Google doesn't have to pay publisher for that. They should be happy, because ads are still delivered but they don't have to pay. So I have a joke here :

Think positively. We (as publishers) can make money by showing ads from google. Advertisers should pay for that. Google is very generous, they only take a small amount of commissions. They even said in their TOS that we may not alter the codes. Why ? Because google afraid that we won't make money from that ! And where does the advertisers' money go ? To google's pocket ? It doesn't matter at all. Just think that once in your lifetime you give google few bucks for a few days, isn't it wonderful ?

This might not be working anymore. Google has had almost a year to adapt.

some body posted this same idea, around 6months back
this idea is 100% failure to me.....

    remove and refixing pub id.......??!!
this same effect you will get, when one day's earnings starts..
ie; when starting of one day's earning ecpm will be high..
