Mails will not help in link building. Try to do natural and good quality link building. Don't buy links you may get penalize.

There is no way robots could build link for you...Manual submission is the best.

Manual means.
1. Submit your site in seo-frienly directories without using any software.
2. Sending emails might be good if you know the person you are sending to, and sent it individually.
3. Submit articles one-by-one without using any software.

I'd also add commenting on no follow blogs and submitting your better content to social sites like www.reddit.com and www.digg.com (lots of them out there, use the big ones and the ones in your niche) if you can get front paged, you usually see a minimum of a few hundred links come in.

The easiest ways in which you can get backlinks:

- Article Directories;
- Web Directories either general or niche oriented;
- Social Networks like Myspace, Digg, Del.icio.us;
- Forum Posts;
- Blog Posts;
- Yahoo Answers;
- Press Releases.

Of course, you also want to get backlinks from established and related websites, but that's a whole different story.

There is no accuracy in terms of automated programs that generate links... In the first place every mails now has spam filters which will filters it. Don't do it because that's spamming....

Manual and organic way is the best. You can submit your site to directories for free, social bookmarkings, forum postings etc....:p

Yahoo! has a question and answer service which functions like a forum in the sense that users ask questions and other users provide answers.

You can read more about it at the Yahoo! website.

Yes, it's just like a forum. You can questions listed their posted by other user. In order to gain links, put your site or blog links after your answer. If your answer best fit to the question, you are selected as the best answer and you earned points as your reputation. You can answer questions in different categories as long as you know thr answer.

Here is the link for Yahoo answers.

I'd say it depends on what the website is about. You can submit to all the search engines and directories in the world but at the end of the day the best thing to do is to try and build direct linking relationships with affiliate companies. I deal a lot with tourism, and I find that here in Ireland (though I'm sure it's the same everywhere) there are plenty of agencies and government and semi-state bodies working feverishly to promote tourism here.
Some of them have decent page rank too and are more than happy to include your site if you provide them with the sort of content they're looking for. Indeed some are happy to link to pretty much anyone, in the hope of bringing in tourists.

Of course this doesn't have to necessarily be tourist related, it could be any industry. Just find out what groups and sites are trying to promote your business in the area. Look for local websites, websites about your town or city or county, look for trade websites, they're always gold. I mean sure you can pay through the nose for search directory placements, bribe search engines and even pay for links, but why bother when there are plenty of sites out there who are more than happy to link to your site for free.

The second thing is to link to other webmasters. Just say straight out, "hey let's work together, I'll link to you, you link to me". It's another great way to get free links for nothing. We're all slaves to pagerank, and a free link is always welcome. If at all possible get them to anchor your text
what you do/your service and send them the full code. (not all webmasters are equal) Even if the pages linked to you aren't the best, if you have a load of them, with your service you're going to start scoring high for that keyword regardless.

I'll put my link just after my answer. Don't you or they consider it as spam?
