I'm sort of new 2 the PPC of today.. (and B4)..lol..but anyways - I was wondering, I have domains that i'm planing on selling or using later - and I was wondering if I can redirect my domains index page using a PPC link.. not sure if its considered cheating or not.. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance..
If I understand you correctly, you want to create a page with a chosen keyword and have it redirect to the affiliate programs results page you're sponsoring. I think most of the programs out there would allow you to do that.
Google TOS are quite clear on this - you must go to the site you say you're going to. So, if you say your going to yoursite.com, you must go to yoursite.com, though not necessarily the home page. What you definitely can't do, is redirect to an affiliate link. Hope that helps. Keith L Jones Internet Business Toolkit
Well, you can't use redirects, but you can direct link using your affiliate link. Your adgroup URL can't be an affiliate link on the search network, or rather, if it is, adwords will only display one link per domain name (so you might get beat out by other affiliates or the original advertiser). On the content network, there are not so many restrictions and you can use your affiliate link without a problem. Better yet, on the search and content networks, you can simply set a different, affiliate-link URL for the keyword URLs from the non-affiliate URL you're using in the adgroup destination. Try it.
