I tend to buy from carboots then sell on ebay, make quite a lot doing it but when you cant drive its annoying commuting to places. Will.
I've just recently begun using eBay as a lead generator. I've bought a few things but I've never sold any physical products - only digital products. I'm too lazy to actually package something up and ship it off.
If your interested in selling on ebay, Sell all the stuff around your house that you don't want. Its a great way to get started.
I buy lot of electronics/Misc Stuff from Ebay. Amplifier - Spool machines - Pro Audio - Decks Many things of my interest I love Bidding and buying But Never Sell anything SO far
I registered on eBay in January of '98 and back then I used it for selling a lot of stuff I no longer wanted laying around the house and used it to buy hard-to-find books and DVDs, but I've never used eBay a method to generate income. It was a great way to make some bucks off from stuff that would otherwise end up in the attic or the dumpster. These days I buy/sell on eBay 2 or 3 times a year.
I buy on ebay occasionally, usually with hard to find items, and generally have had very good experiences. I've sold some random articles on ebay, cell phones, etc..and have had pretty good luck there as well. It's not for everything or everyone, but it has a lot of positive points.
Same for me. I have a 156 positive feedback on there but most of them are purchases. I sell the occasional thing. I hate their fees though.
I'm selling my very first item on ebay, just listed it seven hours ago. It's a one of a kind, never been on eBay before item. It's a Cat Heath Alarm System , here's the listing http://tinyurl.com/3xrq6r. If anyone has any suggestions on how I can improve the listing , I'm all ears, errr maybe I should be saying I'm all eye balls. I had spend a lot of time to learn to do a lot of new things creating the listing. Hope I did everything right. I'm going to get to see firsthand if eBay is all it's cracked up to be, as far as making money. I'm also working on eBaying an ebook a friend of mine has written which he is selling thru ClickBank. Since I can't go thru Clickbank to sell it on eBay, well, I'm faced with another learning curve. Some of the things I have to figure out is how to handle the transaction, how to do the delivery, how my friend can see verification on how many I'm selling so that he can be paid accordingly. I've never made any money before on the internet. I'm hoping selling these two items on eBay is going to finally do it for me. I'm open to all the help you guys can give me.
I never have really purchased something expensive off eBay. Most I have ever spent was $200. I usually purchase things that I want but can't find locally or off a legit website. Like right now, I'm looking for oil mats for the garage. Nobody sells these locally for me and I can find them much cheaper on eBay....
I sell network and PC cables on eBay (ethernet and usb cords). Probably have sold to about 20,000 eBay buyers since late 2004. It is really, really difficult to make profits on eBay when you are selling a USB cable for $2.95, which is a competitive price there. But I do occasionally find corporate clients there who then go to my website to buy more products. I view eBay as a break-even marketing channel for me, in that regard. I also have purchased a few items on eBay for personal use and have never had a problem. Of course, I take care to view the Feedback ratings of the sellers before bidding on anything.
I buy on ebay, but I don't sell - I just hunt for the bargains. As a buyer I'm happy - had a couple of problems, but they were on 'too good to be true...' deals that I decided to take a chance on anyway, so it's my own fault.
I don't shop or sell on eBay, because I can't (needs credit card). But I would like to try it sometimes.
I had items selling in ebay. Later I switched to Easy Store Hosting and they have given me the best of the best features for a very low price including an ebay tool where I can import all my ebay products to my new store set up by Easy Store Hosting guys.
I do a bit of buying now and then, but I have never ventured into selling really. Never found a product I thought I could market well, but if I found something I wouldn't hesitate to start an ebay store.
All I can remember is, I only purchase and sell once at ebay. I think selling physical products is not my passion.
