Well, I don't have acne but I do get some pimples every now and then. I heard so much about proactiv and I really want to try it. Does it really work? Have any DP'ers tried using proactiv? :)

    yeah, I've tried soap...

I also wonder if proactive works because I've had acne for years and it's only starting to go away. but it's a lot of money so I want to make sure it works, I've used a lot of stuff that just doesn't work:(. I know its used by many actors and alike.

I use water atleast 12 times a day, soap just dries the skin and makes it look worse.

I've used Proactiv. It works. It's just a bitch to routinely do it twice a day...and it's a 3-step procedure which is also annoying...

    But it does work.

..so does rubbing alcohol on your face. Proactiv is the best solution out there though.

Rubbing alcohol is great for cleaning your face and just making big pimples smaller or go away.

I would never use it. I don't believe those kinds of products work, and whenever I watch the commercials, i just wonder what kind of experience in dermatology the celebrities who endorse it have; none! I would go to my local GP if i were you.

I've used Proactiv for a little over a year now and the results have been amazing. My acne was never that bad, just a few patches and outbreaks every now and then. I do agree that the twice a day, 3 step thing gets a little annoying but it's all worth it in the end.

My friend used it and it worked amazingly for her skin.

For me, I'm using the tea tree oil line from the body shop and it's working for me :) (though I don't have "extreme" acne or acne at all.

I can tell you my story , i spent thousands on my skin on all these brands , 2 years ago i went to a dermatologist and within 2 weeks my skin was clear.all i use is domer 211 moisturiser which cost 11.00 for about 6 months , a prescription nightcream and a daily face wash ,.HALF THE INCREDIENTS IN THESE PRODUCTS CAUSE MORE OUTBREAKS THAN IT CURES/

I am actualy alergic to soap. :p

I wash my face several times a day but I still get those spots on my face, the ones that make my face look really greasy. :(
