How much Green and Red REP do you give out?

I'm just wondering how often everyone here reps each other?

I think for some people it takes a while untill they catch on and even realize that there is a rep system in place.

And others are just exploding with rep. They, Im sure, are very well aware of the system.. LOL

So lets hear it, how much do you hand out each day?

Do you green rep worth while, informative posts? or Do you green rep funny, comical posts?

Do you green rep as much as you can in one day, finding posts that you feel deserve the rep? or Do you only green rep others who are above a certain rep level, or are in your circle, hopeing to receive rep in return?

Do you enjoy finding bad/rule breaking posts and red rep'ing people? Or do you just red rep when you see something that ticks you off?

I give rep when I find value in their posts or agree with their statements.

 

I give green on every occasion (buying, selling, trading, good information, tips, opinions, funny posts….) Never used red rep.

 

I give green when I think it is worthy.

I'm not much of a repper, but I also haven't done anything in buy/sell/trade. I think I would always give a rep for a business transaction. I have never given a red rep, because it takes a lot to offend me. If I see something I disagree with, I either respond with a post or I ignore it.

 

There are A LOT of low quality posts here on DP, so I'll generally give out green to any posts I see that add value to the thread and are not just repeating what has already been said.

 

I rarely give rep because I forget. When I really like the post though, I try to give rep.

 

It took me a long time to realize what rep was.. didn't even know when my site was running on vbulletin
Anyways, now that I know I give out green rep to people that are helpful

Actually I don't think I've ever given red.

 

I give green when it is worth giving. I also give red when someone just blatantly does something wrong or tries to screw people. I always sign my reps so they know when I give green and red to them.

 

I have only given red a couple of times and it was because the poster was extremly rude or hijacked somebody elses sales thread or something like that.

The days that I am online I will try to find as many helpful posts as possible, or just funny posts, and I do try to give out as much green as I can in one day. But only if they deserve or need the rep. What really gets me is when you see a very informative post of some sort from a person with little or no rep. I'll deffinetly rep a person like that, I dislike it when people are overlooked..

 

The ratio for green/red for me is about 98/2.
