Just starting a thread asking about how many people blog on myspace? I know it isnt the best blogging platform but I suppose some epople find it useful. POst here if you do use it or you have thoughts on the subject.

Also, how do you get it to show up on your user name on this forum. I cant get the right link?

    Thanks

Nope, i'd rather use something else.

Myspace's blog interface isn't great TBH.

Plus you can make your own blog easily enough and put adsense on it, make a bit of money from it.

From what I can tell, myspace's blogs don't allow advertising... this may have changed lately. I also think that other formats provide better/easier content for publishers and readers.

I do blog on myspace from time to time, but only short and basic stuff about what happened to me that day.

Exactly - using wordpress or blogspot. Wordpress is easier though.

I read over 155+ feeds daily and I just realized none of them are on myspace. I also link around to different blogs from my own and read from others and I have not come across a myspace blog in the last 3 months. Beyond that I do not think I have seen quality content coming from any. Bottom line - go with another provider IMHO.

It might be allowed. Why don't you try it and let us know?

I don't use my myspace account at all anymore.. and I think I tried blogging on myspace once before, but the readers were meant to be for just my friends.
