Yes, but who cared. My traffic is still the same. And it looks like link selling is quite dangerous now days anyway.

If you're not selling links than why does PR matter? Has your traffic changed at all?

I second this.. Traffic and SERP's are better than ever... I've come to the realization that PR really means very little if anything in the over all scheme of things..

don't worry so much about pr... pr from 5 down to 4 must be really something but if your visitors find your site to be reliable enough for their needs pr doesn't matter anymore whatever value it has...

If your traffic is the same, you have nothing to worry about.

PR stable on most of my sites, but as others have pointed out, it doesn't really matter...what matters is traffic and revenue and I'm happy with both.

If john chow is pleased with PR 4 then you can do to :p Traffic is more important than the PR actually :)

A lot of sites lost PR on the last update.

It appears as though links have been devaluated to some degree net wide so naturally PR will drop.

Nothing to worry about as we are all on the same playing field.

It is just my guess but I think sites that did not experience PR drop were on the high side of the PR bracket so they were in so were able to lose some PR juice without showing any drop.

    Hope that helps.

I second my previous posters. PR is not that important, as long as you doe well on the SERPs. In any case, a light fluctuation in PR wasn't even unheard of before the last update. For example, some of the pages that linked to you may have lost PR, which results in some PR loss on your site. Maybe these guys brought traffic, so you are never safe ;)

Lesson to learn: don't look to much at PR and try not to have a single source of traffic...
