what do you do when you don't have money??? and for how many days weeks or months did you survive without money.. i know theres a lot of people here in DP that have some interesting stories to tell... ...........line em up..
DP is a place for Making money.....So I am happy the way it goes.....hope I wont get into that situation
i know this is the place for making money.. but im just asking if anyone ever experience being broke... total zero money for that day or the next day.. and the following day if so..... what did they do in order to get back on track.. u know..
I've never been 'broke'. I only spend the money I've got, and I only buy the crap that I really want. I live my life on the smell of an oily rag (how pleasant!). So even if I shut up shop for year or two, I could still live happily on what's in the bank. Put your eggs in different baskets, stick your fingers in lots of pies
Been there done that. Learn the thousands of ways not to make money so you can find best way for you to actually make it
Money is important and if you dont have money, relatives won't help you much less you friend or even the government.
I always plan ahead so at the worst ill have to save money until i get more. Never let your girlfriend be in charge of money soon as she gets it she will find something she needs to buy.
I've been skint, stoney-broke, boracic-lint. Not a bean to my name and a dry cracker and mouldy cheese in the cupboard. I needed some dosh quick - so I loaded up all my old books and I had tons of them and took them round book shops and got some pennies that way. Not much, but enough to get me through to the next pay-check. I haven't had to do that for a very long time but I am back to having a mountain of books - just in case.
Thats funny, i did the same thing.. sold a bunch of old books to a shop, after that borrowed some money from a friend to get back on my feet, things worked out after that.
Strangely enough, every time I've almost run out of cash, magically some money will come from somewhere. Not a lot, but just enough to get me by until next month's salary comes in. This money usually comes from someone calling me up for some basic freelance IT work (like setting up a secure WiFi network in their home).
I grew up in a large poor family so I am no stranger to being broke. When I was in my early twenties, I lost my mediocre job with no notice and was beyond broke with no savings. You just do what you have to do to survive. This included taking any work I could get until I could find a good job. During that time I did everything from hauling trash to laying bricks as a laborer. I am glad to be in very good position financially now. However, through the hard times you learn to survive and it makes you stronger in character. I am frugal enough to make sure I never end up in that position again. I think really rich people should walk in the shoes of a poor man for a month to see why they should not waste the resources that they have.
I have never held a "real" job. I get disability $ from my gov't every week for as long as I want it... (Around 250$USD) + Free Rent. So... for the past 10 years I sat around and did nothing, Living on 250$ USD a week is HARD and had no idea what to do. Then I discovered earning online and now make 1-2k a week.
so govt pays you $250?? thats every?? well thats good to hear your earning money online.. same as me.. been doin nothing for the past 5 yrs.. just asking money from my mom.. haha.. and now im making money online.. neat!
