Not at all, facts are facts, fiction like you specialize in is totally different. ;)
If you need me to I'll link you to the definition of 'fact' and 'fiction'

    ---edit
I also do not start threads with the soul purpose to bash those who do not hold my religious beliefs do I?...

Try flying from Germany to Costa Rica for 16 hours, the flight attendants kept feeding me nicarette cuz I was ready to have some serious air rage. :D

I wanna start an outdoor church where people can smoke (needs to be outdoors, Cali law and all that ... ). And if anyone has a complaint, they are free to show me in the bible that smokers go to hell. (and with smokers I mean both, cigarettes and weed)

cool dude, I will try it next time. Even though I pray to God I will never have to go to Europe again. That whole continent sucks ass! (even though I may want to visit Israel in the future, I will surely follow your advice then :) )

Nah, I wouldn't want you to put too much stress on that over-inflated ego. Perhaps a link on how to harvest corn cobs from Uranus?

I know that. She was 12 when she married Joseph who was 90 years old.

The Byzantine emperors married 8 year old girls.

In the Biblical times, girls were sold off to men that were at the age that would be considered the age of their grandfathers! What do you say to that? I'll answer that for you, I am no ignorant person like some. It was normal back then. All religions, societies..everyone accepted these marriages!

The age for consent in the west (yes America!) was 10 years of age!!!! just last century!

Read up on Aisha's Marriage to Prophet Muhammad

In conclusion, it was the NORM to marry at a young age because of the lifespan. You died at 40-60 years of age.

No GRIM. I don't get it. An 8 year old little girl having to marry the greatest prophet that ever lived.:( It is totally beyond me. You can bring age in and the times change and yet the fact remains 8 year old. Some things you can excuse and others, I just personally cannot.

I'm sure to you "facts" don't matter because hey, you've got to show your superiority and make excuses. If you mention it over 100 times it won't move me. Some things I will not accept. Like a fully grown man marrying an 8 year old and millions thinking: "Well, in those times etc, etc."

No the ego would be in your corner, you however use fiction to stroke it ;)

What do you not get that an 8 year old today is not an 8 year old back then? Times change, life spans increase, what was right back then is not today. You must be able to tell the difference, seriously you can not be that idiotic.

It is you who does not care for facts, the facts are that times change, life spans increase. Facts don't move you, you've proven that time and time again.
Don't try to give proteindude logic and facts to digest, you'll only give him heart burn.

Let me explain something which I believe you're missing here: we are talking about an 8 year old girl. I don't want to get into a perverted subject here but doing something to a little girl is a very damaging thing. No matter who does it. There should be no excuse for it PERIOD and something like this should be considered despicable because it is.

ROFLING my head off, the jews have known that verse long before Jesus, they attribute it to Hezekiah, if im twisting the grammer, why dont they call him God???

also LOL show me were jesus calls him self the 'ever lasting father' or 'mighty God', youre an idiot. Im sure he's suppose to be know as the SON?

POINT IS: NO WHERE DID JESUS HIMSELF EVER SAY HE WAS GOD or WORSHIP ME.

Thus, you dont follow Jesus if you think he's God or Worship him.

It shows how weak the foundations of your belief are, What kind of God comes down and forgets to tell us he is God or to worship him.

Son is not literal, if you weren't so blind and had read the old testament, you might realize it.

I see you have no problem insulting me and calling me names, yet when I described how I feel about "The Prophet" you went to the mods so I get an infraction because I called the prophet a child molester.

If I get banned so be it, but let me tell you, no normal person would marry an 8 year old girl. "The Prophet" should be an example for all generations which clearly he isn't.

You bring up the subject of polygamy which is a poor pathetic excuse to change attention from the despicable act of marrying an 8 year old girl. These kind of excuses show how pathetic your attempt is to excuse a grown up man marrying an 8 year old little girl. Nobody said anything about polygamy except you in a desperate attempt to change the focus again.
