Google's 2007 Q4 PageRank (PR) Update - 10/13/07

Hi!
Neither of us have time to waste, so i plan to be clear cut. You will notice that Netscape is PR 9. That is powerful stuff, my friend. Google itself is PR 7. If you are familar with page ranking and back links, you know what having a link from a page rank 9 site can do for you site.

My page rank increased to PR 2.

 

I was predicted PR 5 for a couple of sites and PR4 for another

I ended up with a PR 2 on 2 and PR1 on 3

one of thiose was a WP-o-matic blog which i ahve never bothered promoting.

WTF if google doing?

there are gonna be a lot more p***ed off people than they expected

Google is against link selling. A link form a site that sells link is avoided. My personal Opinion. They are asking webmasters to report link selling. I think this is the reason why some of the sites lsot page rank. I have not purchased any backlinks. My zero PR site got a PR4

 

my websites PR have raised. Even some proxies have PR 5...seems weird, but who cares?

All of these websites have less than 10 backlinks. Some, don't even have any backlink! Though they're listed in SE.

 

Another Round Of PageRank Slapping?

My blog went from PR5 to PR3 today but it went from PR0 to PR5 on October 26. I wrote more detail on my blog

Any body know when Google is going to do page rankings? I have two new directories just wondering.

 

Are you kidding? Google just updated pr last week, it could be many more months before another one. Too early to talk about yet.

 

Does anyone check there PR everyday just to make sure it didn't update? ehh

 

google is always updating pr
the toolbar however is updated 4 times a year.

You'll need to wait a few months before any new changes.

Yesterday my directories page rank dropped, i think it's a new update or google penalized me for having free directories =))

for example:
submit-link.net before the update was pr 0, after the update - PR3, yesterday it dropped to 1
also aboutdirectories was pr N/A, after the update - pr 2, and now pr 1.

Why google dropped my page rank for no reason ?

 

I think Google is penalizing Directories... !
