My account showed today's earnings, but when I click the top channels and add up earnings per channel for today, it was actually 5 times more. What gives? Just an adsense bug or they are putting a hold on the rest awaiting review? I did see a few clicks worth considerably more today, but the number of clicks are as usual. The correct total amount was indeed shown in the Advanced Report, just the "today's earnings" on the homepage was wrong.

For this much page views and this clicks with only $0.68 Try to increase your keywords for the page. You might get more revenue.
Channels added together will almost always be more than your actual total because a click can show up in more than one channel. For example if you had a few channels like site.com and site.com/folder and site.com/folder/page and large square and large square blue text may all infact track the same click and when added together would coun that click 5 times.
