LOL, actually not sure if you have ever noticed, but every website ranks for something, yep, even if you only get a few hits a month your site will rank for something.

Just check your AWSTATS under KEYWORDS.

 

OnPage SEO helped me get 10+ keywords on first page. Offpage SEO along with that makes the magic.

Yes, not only forum posting is the way to get your keyword rank. It is just one factor of it.

Well more then that subscribe to my feed and maybe you'll get an idea its in my signature. Our company is ranking for very competitive keywords some of the most competitiveness out there.

 

It depends, if you are trying for a competitive keyword then all the above too are also required
But if your keyword is less competitive then only with onpage optimisation you can get the desired results, i have one such website which ranked in the first page in 2 weeks time for a particular keyword with 3920000 search results but other websites had no onpage optimisation whatsoever, no i will not let you know

I got my main keyword to page one by intentionally having the worst on-page SEO possible. Didn't include it in Title, Description, Bold etc and just once on the page lol

 

Basic on-page and off-page optimization and lots of good quality one way inbound links.

Go grab a copy of SEO Book if you don't know. If you do and this is just some research then cool

 

Links from Published articles, as well as direct traffic....also the article itself gets a high search result
