Now it takes up like 140mb and 25% cpu with 6-15 tabs open.

I will wait until the stable version is released, I don't want someone exploiting me because of a unsecured browser.

Really? That's not so bad. Do you think it'll be this fast once Firefox releases it?

I would assume so. I think something was just wrong with there last release of it because it just ate computer resources like crazy.

As for features.. There is a easy bookmarking button now and they made favicons stand out a bit more..

I just hope they make it nice and quick yet super stable like usual :D

    Thanks.

If it'll run as smooth as Opera does just now then I might switch. Once the official version is out of course.

My bad.. it's an old version indeed. Real OLD

    firefox-3.0a5pre.en-US.win32.installer.exe 28-May-2007 05:47 6.2M
    firefox-3.0a5pre.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2 28-May-2007 05:12 8.6M

So it's not a beta.. mine's an alpha.. my bad.. but again.. I doubt it was leaked.. they do have a CVS repository that's open to public..

But just a word of warning.. don't use it.. yet.. at least not until a real public beta version.
