Thats right I am using Gmail from March 9 2005 and I dont see this in my account . I have made one new account but still I am not able to see that in this one as well. SO they are choosing at random EDIT I just made a new Account and can see the changes in the new account , so it is clear that they are giving preference to new users before going to expand service to old users.
Well my old account (made 2005) has the new version, my 3 other new accounst made this year doesn't have it. So I guess it's old accounts, and newly registered ones? I personally hate the new version.. each time I sign in, I have to rechange it to the older version which gets annoying
Yes, I dont like the new Gmail as a whole.... as there is no difference in the look and feel.. when compared with the old version.. of course they addded some new features and functions... but the interface is just the same... Look at the new yahoo mail and live mail... and see its difference from their old versions... they changed a lot.... so Gmail also needs a similar version with right click support and many other features including a new look.......
My old account (made in 2004 itself soon after Gmail launched) do not have the new version.. but for 2 other accounts which i made some months back have the new version.... Strange!!!
keeping the interface same is a good thing though !! adding right click support might be a good one.. but i think google purposefully left it.. ?? may be..
my old account has been upgraded few days ago. and there was a link (above) if i want to use the "old/classic" version. so cool.
I just signed up too Gmail, and i doesent give me the option to change back to the older version, but it has the contacts menu. Does this mean i have v2 ?
Just noticed that they upgraded my account too Anyone else noticed this? It was my oldest account created some 3 years back......
This one has got better interface and the well known red image of "loading......" changed to diff colour
It's just a lot faster than the old one. Am I correct or did google implement new features to the new gmail?
