its ridiculous how chaotic pakistan is at the moment, they have always been poor in terms of ratings in education/political democracy, economy

but come on, this is too much

do you think pakistan will recover? they should perhaps learn from neigbour india or even western nations like uk and us and canada on how to function ... i personally think musharraf is a better president than many other candidates

There have been numerous threads on this issue. You seemed to contradict yourself, it is Mush himself who started to arrets judges, ministers..banning media..etc Why support Mush then?

yeah he just sounds peachy doesn't he?

What he is doing is very similiar to what brutal dictators have done to remain in power.

musharraf is still willing to fight islamic terrroist. If it was someone else they wouldnt use an iron fist and the taliban and al queda would run pakistan

    you cant always win
the whole nation is to blame, not 1 man

Uhuh, so even if this was the case it makes it totally fine for him to be an all powerful dictator, above the law? Rounding up all who oppose him, you know many of whom are not 'terrorists'

    --BTW
ever think the crap he is pulling, how he bacame to power and how he continues to hold onto it is making the terrorists more powerful, not the other way around?...

Mush is more keen to save his own ass than to fight against terrorism..

Mush or Army have virtually no control over tribal regions of Pakistan. where AQ has a strong hold.

Musharraf's Answer to a western diplomat about democracy in Pakistan:

"Don't expect YOUR level of democracy...."

What the Fuck? What's YOUR level of democracy?
