    Hi,

    My site Free Connecticut Classifieds was in the top 5. I have checked Google keep indexing pages, but is no where to be found. The rest of the sites that I was compiting with still there nothing have changed only my site that is not there any more.

    Any ideas on this, suggestions, or comment?

    The site is been up almost a year now, have some links not paid links, PR got into inner pages. Press releases.

    It was doing $8 a day in adsense now is $0... Google is killing me...

    Is there any paid links on your site. I think google has banned your site. Anyway did you check the backlinks to your website.

    Yes is showing 19 links, is also showing increment of page index.

    No there is no paid links in my site. All sites linked are mine.

    But if Google will ban me will they continue indexing more pages or they will stop indexing pages?

    This has happened to some of my sites recently, the more 'grayhat' ones. Your site appears 10-15 results from the bottom. Currently the "bottom" stops in the 500's. However, I bet if during normal fluctuations, the initial search results go up to 700's, your site would probably appear in the 700's as well, near the bottom.

    Technically you aren't "banned", but I too am looking for a good explanation on what this symptom is. It is VERY significant. It would be better to be banned, than to suffer this, whatever this is.

    I went thru this same problem last year and am now just coming out of it. From what I can tell it appears to be random but I did do some changing that seemed to help a bit.

    1. I made absolutely certain that my sites that linked to each other were on separate servers.

    2. I did a copyscape search for duplicate content and eliminated any that was found

    3. I made sure that my internal anchor text links were descriptive.

    4. The neighborhoods that I had linked to were of good value.

    I am still in the process of fixing stuff but it has helped. One of my sites is over 800 pages and they have to all be redone manually. Not fun but necessary. This has helped my site come back from the dead.

    My content is unique, I did a copyspace and only 4 pages where found that have something similar.

    My other links are on different ip blocks.

    I have take good care of not to commit something that could hurt the site. But what happen? Is this sandbox? I don't think so. The site all ready suffer sandbox. The first months of life.

    I am seeing that your site was formed in 2000, the new Google cache date is Nov 1 2007 and you are showing 445 Yahoo links and maintaining a PR of 3.

    The only thing I can see right away is that you need more links but there shouldn't hardly any competition for your main keyword. There is also a bunch of Java on the page and possibly too much for the code/script ratio portion of the algo but that is just a guess.

    Hey boys, it is really funny to see so many people panicking when their site disappears for some days or hours???
    You are all talking like top notch SEOs but your statements mostly show that you have absolutly no clue about what is happening.

    I performed a SERP scan for a client on google.co.uk and the site had vanished for ALL search terms. If you think I am searching for the reason now - you are deadly wrong - I know there is a datacenter update happening and tomorrow or in a couple of days everything will be back to normal. :D :D

    Give it a couple weeks as it's not uncommon for sites to move up/down in short periods of time before restablizing. If you are still near the bottom of the ranks you then you probably got hit with a "last page penalty" (aka 950 penalty) of some sorts.

    yea I'm having this same problem, I was within the top #5 for my keyword. Now I'm no longer listed at all - completely legit site, no black hat etc. Here's the scoop so far as I've seen:

    Google doesn't list my site for some countries, but in other countries I'm still on the list. Look yourself up on localized Google like:

    http://www.google.de
    http://www.google.ca
    http://www.google.jp
    http://www.google.br ..etc

    Personally I found I was listed in 1-5 spots on those, but on google.com or a few others, I wasn't showing at all. So it's really weird - it's like Google banned me, but I'm in the index, and I'm ranking for my keywords on the other localized versions, but not across the board as I had before. I'm hoping it's temporary - it's pretty difficult because there's no real way to communicate with Google about what's wrong.

    Try http://www.google.nr (I bet you're still ranking there, at least for me that was one localized google that was working).

    Monfis, my site disappeared after being at the top of Google for hyper competitive keywords. I have been thru many data center updates over the years and seen things happen just as you described but in my situation, my site was slammed after I removed some Google Adsense from it and a few other things I mentioned above. I have had other sites of mine go up and down with data center updates with no worries and sometimes that can take as long as a month for all of the corrections to show up in the SERPS which is not a big deal. One of my sites was really slammed while all of the others stayed stable. This site has taken me the better part of a year to get back where it once was.

    As far as being a top notch SEO goes, I am not sure how you would classify one as a top notch but I make a very good living that increases every month with my SEO efforts. I am not Aaron Wall, but I do OK.:)

    Ummm... honestly change the software that you are using. I am #1 in Yahoo, #5 in MSN (live). Ask is dead so I careless for this one. We are talking about Google.

    Secondly guys, I don't care on traffic from China or Pakistan. If you notice my keywords are really targeting a local market, a USA State. So I care about the traffic from here or inside the US.

    I will give Google 10 days! 10 Days!
    If($Google != $top10){
    $Ban_Google_bot = True;
    $Remove_Adsense = True;
    $Remove_Analytics = True;
    }

    This is simple, Google is the power that is today because people like us. Imagine if the world decided they don't want Googles BS any more and everyones start to block Googles Bot from there site... what you think would happen?

    Reality is this is not going to happen, the world wont ban google bot. But I would.
