Why did you become a webmaster?

Let's all share our stories on why we became a webmaster. Did you become a webmaster because someone inspired you to become one - or did you just get motivated at the thought of owning your own website and watch it grow from 5 unique visitors to over 2,000 a day?

Well, I became a webmaster because I love computers - and I thought I could become a webmaster the day I started to receive traffic to my first freewebs site, then it just went from there.

So, why did you become a webmaster?

 

I wanted extra money, to be my own boss and work from home.

 

coz its my job.. i applied for it.. now i get paid for it

 

Because I work in an SEO company and this is my position. Dp had helped me a lot

 

I worked in a web development company and got tired making someone else rich. I wanted to be my own boss so I started doing this.

 

Because I earn more money being a webmaster than with a regular job.

 

I started investing, or I should say gambling in autosurfs and HYIPS. Then I realized webmastering is more profitable and safer.

 

To be able to work and make money from anywhere in the world. The feeling I get of making something work successfully, especially getting scripts to work after you tweak them. To one day have this as a full time job with steady income from little to know work (long way down the road).

Well I wasted alot of time in my life, and wanted to commit to a business that has something to do with my interests.

So here I am.

 

Just for fun, but turns out that it can be profitable.

 

Because make operation on php script , develop website is my hobbies . I addict it . It give me some bucks a month to my pocket . I can buy some DVD game and ice cream

 

I became webmaster just by chance because my friend purchased an account on Godaddy and then he was unable to use it because of his studies so he handed over this to me and I continued it and now I am earning money from this and my friend is busy in studies as usual

so wanted to learn more abt it .......

 

I love everything about making websites. I've been doing it ever since I was a kid.. being a webmaster is the perfect hobby

 

Be my own boss, earn money pretty much on "auto pilot" and to be able to look after my babies

 

I needed the money and had no other option and needed something and someone told me to try to online business and I tried it out and it has saved my life and I am now starting to live the high life.

 

Its my retirement plan.
