Article submission to Social bookmarking sites

Why should I submit to social bookmarking? Don't they just crawl it automatically when you ping them??? I submitted my site to many directories and when I tried to submit my blog to some social bookmarking sites I found out that my articles are already submitted automatically when they crawled it.
So, why should I submit articles to social bookmarking???

    Thanks,
    Vad

Social Bookmarking sites don't crawl directories. If you have a blog, some of them get pings, but it is still better to submit the blog through a social bookmarking site, so that Google can index your site faster, and you get more visitors who come to surf the Social bookmark sites.

i don;t know what are you talking about here. you have a blog and SB sites is crawling your new blog articles? thats not possible. i think you are mixing up SB sites with pinging sites like technorati. if you have ping enabled on your blog, then every time you publish a new article, it will ping the pinging services therefore you don;t have to submit to technorati and sites like that yorself. but SB sites is a whole different ballgame

it is just like saying SEs can find my site without my own submission then why I should should submit to them at all. As an SEO expert, you need to understand the point that we can not leave our website by chance. We have to make sure that all the inner pages of the website get index as fast we can.

So that the hard earned content start producing value as soon as it can. If you see cache of many site, many of these pages are not index for many months too. That means the site owner is not realising the value of SEO. For an SEO expert, even a small step in right direction is critical. As you never know, which keyword can be performing and what is exactly their long tails.

When we bookmarked our whole website, Live and Yahoo start sending the traffic. Google is still catching up. But Even google is showing positive result of bookmarking, although it follow the NOFOLLOW tag.

So Buddy, get you site bookmarked. And do not wait.

If you want we can help you wo bookmark your whole website including Inner pages. You can contact me through PM.

    Thanking you

First, anybody who calls themselves an "SEO Expert" is someone who you should never pay to do anything to/for your site.

Second, not submitting your site to the search engines has nothing to do with chance. It has to do with understanding how search engines work.

Third, you'll get crawled far sooner if you have a link on a page the search engines crawl regularly than by moving to the end of the line in their submit a url queue. You're also more likely to get something indexed during that first crawl if it's because of a link and not because you told them your site is super duper and should be in their index.

Finally, this is why no one should ever hire someone calling themselves "SEO Expert."

Nothing wrong with submitting a site that has a link on it to other sites you'd like to get indexed =) A little grey, but it works.
