Best Blog Directories and/or Blog Promoting Sites

Hi Everyone,

I was curious as to your opinion on blog promotion. I launched my site about 2 months ago and was looking for additional natural means of generating traffic. I have been social bookmarking my posts and as well as ping. I want to add my site to various directories since I have a PR2, at least.

According to your experiences and expertise, what sites or directories would you recommend? I saw a few sites that had a list of quality directories but I totally forgot them. If you have any input or thoughts I would really appreciate it.

Ok serious I always have to reply to these please help me get traffic requests when it’s a blogger. The worse part is I always feel like a spammer but in all reality I’m not. I am the owner of blogengage and I offer a free service to blogger and the service is meant to advertise their blogs! It’s pretty simple and it’s a niche market of dig.com specifically for bloggers only. We need more bloggers so I welcome you to submit your blogs. I can only promise I will stumble/read it a few times I can't promise our viewers will be interested. The idea is if you blog they will read. Also forum signatures are a great form of traffic!

Very nice site I must say! Man, the submitted links from digital point have been so nice! I mean all the submitted sites are really great quality! I would say 60% are pr3 and above! Shows the PR right in front of the link!

Thanks for the compliments! I tried my best on the development and design. Now its all about traffic and point of sale....Are there are any other blog directories you know of other than your own.....which you would recommend?

 

not really! I haven't tried to advertise my blog too much so I don't know that many Blog Directory's. Maybe you can ask over at bloggeries as well as here to get the most results and answers.

Besides blogengage I don't advertise my blog anywhere!

 

Well i only use : mybloglog.com and bumpzee.com

Both are very fast and good directories for traffic and promotion too..

I submitted for mybloglog and bumpzee.com I don't really understand it too well...Bumpzee requires certain code for it to be insert into WP. I have that info but I did not to dedicate so much space for one site....

 

none of directories worked for me...only provide links but no traffic

also traffic exchangers like blogrush.com did send few visitors

 

BlogRush is weird. I mean I temporarily took off my widget and they discontinued my service. I have no clue why.....
