Should I switch from CPM to PPC?

I am using avn right now and I believe the majority of the ads displayed on my site is CPM - being paid a pathetic sum per 1000 impressions.

    (approx stats for today)
Ad zone views: 19528 <--total page views
CPM impression: 17170 <--number of times ad is displayed
    Clicks: 1804
    Earnings: $2.05

Would I be better off if I switch to a PPC? Given a very bad case of $0.005/click, and 900 clicks (half of my current clicks in case click thru falls), I would probably get $4.50!! which is more than 2X of my current revenue!

I used avn cos their ads really blend in very nicely with my adult video site.

However, after looking through the stats, I am wondering if I should switch to a PPC such as adtoll, adengage, etology etc.

I am trying out etology right now but their ads do not really blend very well with my site.

Does any one has any good suggestions? Kind of need someone who pays me for pay per click and has ads that blends really well with a adult youtube clone site.:D

It all depends on your site and the type of traffic you are getting..
Experience with both and see which one is working best for you..

Under statistics, you can view the number of clicks even if its cpm.

I must admit, I would never use a program on my site that pays what you are earning. You are earning around $0.001136363636 per click, that's not even 1 cent or quarter of a cent.

I would look into other ways of monetizing your websites traffic. Good luck.

oh,in ad stats.the last time i had checked they didn't have the option to see todays stats, only past 30 days.

we are talking about cpm image ads though and most of the ads are only a picture of something x-rated.
most of the clicks are from people that are curious where the ad will bring them. :D

i do agree they are getting very cheap traffic.

Log into avn -> statistics -> ad stats -> clicks.

This will show you number of clicks.

Any way, does any one has any good suggestion as per my topic?
