It is not the Bible which says that blood has not to be accepted. It is the book rewritten from Bible by the so-called 'witnesses of God'. It is said that many people die from such unreasonable interpretations of life.
More proof to what happens when men create 'religion' and laws based on their own beliefs. Sad, but at least they only kill their own members and only a very few die each year compared to "the fastest growing religion". They don't force their beliefs on others, so I can accept blood transfusions by my own choice. And again, they won't blow up a busload of kids to prove their point.

lol, that reminds me of the fundamentalist christians who blow up abortion clinics for their pro-life views. and the crazy missionaries who harass poor African tribes. The problem of this particular doctrine (that receiving blood is not allowed) is that it doesn't make any good to anyone. And problem with islam is, that it is grossly exploited by politicans - it was said many times - on this forum already.
There is a slight difference in blowing yourself up and blowing up a group of people. If all people that carried out their beliefs just offed themselves, then there would not be all this hype about "terror" and "terrorism" as that goes beyond just doing something to (or I guess in this case, against) yourself.
