Voxant newsroom, will they pay?

Hi,

I just started using Voxant Newsroom and I'm really happy with the huge 4$ CPM, though I'm wondring how they make money. I only see a Voxant newsroom ad before the video's and then a reuters news video or something like that.

They pay Reuters and me and percentage of their ad income, but what's their ad income? I can't see any 'ads'!

So is this a scam or am I missing something?

 

No scam and yes they do pay.
As far as I'm aware ads appear in their embeddable videos and articles.

you can try Advert-revenue for more cpm if you want to use pop-unders it is 1$ CPM (minmum payout 5$) and the paying method is paypal,moneybookers,E-gold and i heard there is e-passporte too

I am not sure if they pay or not.

I've just joined the program and haven't reach the minimum payout yet.

I read some people say they got paid from them.

If they pay it's the best program ever! the autoplay isn't a problem for me and 4$ CPM is just great (or... is there something paying better?)

Where is the autoplay option? I can't find it, and my users need to click PLAY to play the movie. Please tell me where it is, as It's really can be a good way for me to serve nice video news and also get paid for it.

 

When you mash the content and pick the layout you want to use, some of the layouts will have (autoplay) next to them. These will play automatically on your page.

My blog has a picture of my news room cheque if you want to "cheque" it out!

 

Can you please take a screenshot or link me to a video example that has that option? As I can't really find any video with that option.

hmm, I'm not sure to be honest. I would get in touch with them because it sounds like there is something wrong with your account specifically.

Sorry I can't help you with it, the best thing to do is get in touch with them and then you can start talking to someone personally. It took them a while to reply to my first e-mail,but now I have someone I can e-mail and talk to whenever I want...

 

It's ok thank you, I found several video's that work, and as well edited the message above (If anyone wondering the problem I mentioned is that I get skipped for the layout, from the agreement streight to the code, so I can't even see on several video's if there is an autoplay option).

yes, thats why the autoplay is so good, but the problem is it is very disruptive to your users so if you have a website which has repeat users, text feeds are probably the way to go...

 

Are the text feeds counters work by unique shows, or by impressions of a page with a text feed?

 

i assume it is impressions, but I don't know to be honest. I never really thought about it lol. Most of my visitors are unique...
