Where to Get Custom T-Shirts Made?

Not sure if this goes here, please move if in the wrong location.

I'm looking at ways to drive traffic to my blog; one of them is getting custom t-shirts with the logo made and sending them out for people to wear. Now, I'll be giving these away free, so don't want them to cost bucketloads- $13 for one is fine, but multiply that by fifty and you're looking at one broke student.

Anyways, anyone done this/know where to do this online? Something like CafePress.com, but cheaper obviously. Something like $5 a shirt w/ logo (same price as ShoeMoney :D) would be ace :p

I'm not sure if there's cheaper. I tried googling, and cafepress kind of dominates that market.

I found them as cheap as $9, which is decent but you have to purchase 24... which is a bit of a bomb for a college student lol

    Hi,

I run a company called Grooveberry and I do custom t-shirts.

    I am having a special where you get 12 t-shirts for $6.95. I this is for a quality t-shirt with a 1-color print.

I can also do dropshipping which means you don't have to take care of all the handling and shipping and thus saving you time. I can include this service in the special above.

My site is currently under a revamping stage but please feel free to email me atrottier @ Grooveberry DOT com.

Or catch me on MSN: loprox@hotmail.com

It isn't that expensive to have your shirts made and it will give you a very good marketing tool. We've worked with sites who get users to sign up to their mailing list for the chance to win one of the 12 shirts. It is a great way to drum up interest in your site.

    Good luck,
    Alex

You could always go bye a lot of cheap tshirts for like a few $'s each and some transfer paper and then print your own

    Thanks

Well if you are looking for a t-shirt design, we can make you one for $5. And we provide you with ai/eps format which you can directly take it to the printer and get it printed... so that way you can save a bit i guess.

Here is our website : www.fashdesigns.com
If you would like to have more information about the same. Also you can email us at

    thanks and regards,

Check out www.dollarshirts.com. I use them for shirts and they have lowest prices that I've found. Minimum order is 24, but I think a 1 color print on a white shirt would cost around $3-4.

Wow, that site's price is more like to what I'm looking at :p

As for the colours, I want to get a logo printed... I presume it would be more than 3 or 4 colours.

    Also, one thing:

Does that mean I have to mail them my design?

I've got a friend who does digital textile printing. You can send your desired grafics (all color, photo or whatever) The printing is real washable textile printing, so your shirts will look fine even after passing lots of times the washing machine. If you provide the t-shirts of your desired quality and price, you might get away with 5 - 6 $. The advantage is that you don't need to order a minimum, he can do it without rising the price even for a single shirt. Feel free to contact me via PM if you are interested.

A four color print will cost you more (about $3-4 more per shirt). I believe you either upload the logo or email it to them.

    Ah, I get it...

Will look into it, although I'm not sure how to resize etc.

MonFis, does your friend provide the tshirts w/ printing, or will I have to buy the t-shirts myself?

    Hi Everyone,

Lots of great info here and I'd like to add a few points if I may.

With whoever you are having printing done make sure you know the TOTAL price. Sometimes you will see a "printing" price but with other fees associated with that. These feese can sometimes be more than the printing.

The iron-on method outlined above is OK if you want to do something for your aunt but if it is business related I would stay away from that. Only silk screening (screen printing) offers true professional quality. You will see and feel the difference.

Dark or light colored shirts. Many won't print on dark or there will be a steep surcharge. Make sure you are aware of this.

Are the shirts included in the prices? What kind of shirts? Are they good quality or bad? We offer only good quality heavyweight shirts that feel good and look good.

It is really easy to have your designs printed on a shirt and depending on what you want to do it can have a really good impact on your business. Please don't order with anyone else until you have spoken to me as I'd love to have a chance to answer any questions and see what I can do for you.

There are many options out there so you need to look at quality, price and customer service (doesn't seem that important but it is in this business).

Have a great day and please ask any questions.

Take a look at the 295guys.com. Their price is in their name, but you have to buy in bulk quantities.
