    Hello everyone.

I just thought I would tell you that it is not hard to make money online. In fact if you devote about 1-2 hours a day then its possible.

The other day I checked my bank account and I only had $10. I lost my job too so I decided to write a report on a specific niche that solved a persons problem.

For example, if your PC was infected with a virus how would you reduce the chances of getting hacked? Anyway, I wrote a report on something specific, gave it a good use of examples and provided quality information.

I decided to sell the report at $7.

Now this was going to be a 30 paged report, and if I price it at $7 people are going to go crazy because not only it is cheap but it will sell in larger quantities.

    Here's what I did.

In the report I also included links to affiliate links - mainly CLICKBANKones so when a person clicked on the links and if they do purchase anything I get paid commission.

I sold he report for $7 and I received my money via paypal. So what did I do?

I used Google Adwords - I bought a $60 voucher from Digital Point, and I went to keyword research tool and searched for key phrases on what was being searched for....

Then I just added my keywords, spent about $0.25 per click for less popular keywords and used an ad such as....

    Your PC Sucks
    You Need To Read This,
    Or Go Away Loser
    [[my url goes here]]

Now an AD Like that attracts a lot of people. So I had so many click through rates and my conversions were good too.

1 in 4 clicks resulted in a sale.

My landing page was just one site with a paypal button and people just bought my report, and listen to this....NOT ONE REFUND AT ALL!

So I would recommend using the $7 concept because you get less refunds and a fast instant way of cash in a short space of time :)

    Thanks

So even if you didn't have the affiliate links you would still be turning a good profit?

You say you only had a paypal button, did you have a sales letter with the button or not?

A good ebook is known to be at least 30 pages long.

If you are willing to write the ebook, you can find out how the profit will be. Test out about $30 with an advertising budget, and see how many sales you make from it. If you turn a profit, then invest more money advertising it.

KUSHI, how did you sell the ebooks with PayPal? I mean, did you have a script to send the buyers the ebook after they paid? Or, how did they get the ebook once they paid? I tried making one of those scripts before using PayPal's IPN feature, but I couldn't get it to work. Do you have the script or know where one is available?

eBooks are pretty decent at bringing in the profits :)

Sadly I haven't found any decent affiliate programs to put in mine..

I just directed the user to pay for my e-book through a landing page. Everything was on Auto Pilot.

LOL What script are you talking about? I made my money selling an e-book I wrote with a passion for my chosen niche.

    Simple.

The e-book can even be 8 pages long, its just the information thats important.

Very interesting approach. I have been working on an ebook myself, and my first idea was to give it away for free. I might give your "technique" a try though, and see if I am able to have some success with it :)

If you give an e-book away for free, make sure you get people to opt-in - BUILD your list that way you can sell to your "list" without the need to use Adwords.

I meant, how did the users get the ebook after they paid for it? How was the ebook sent to them?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Did you have any problem with people sharing the URL with the download link?

So you did code the landing page with the sales control yourself or did you download a script?

No problem at all. In fact everything went smoothly.

I think Internet is such an easy way to make money. Its really there for the taking. No ones taking advantage of this.

How about the payment gateway, how did you make it so after the person pays a link displays? Doed PayPal offer an easy solution to this or did you code it yourself?

I had nothing to code. Paypal provided its own button and redirection feature.

    Paypal is easiest...

You just redirect the transaction to your own "Thank You" page after paypal payment. It's an option that you set when creating the payment button.

The page is available for anyone who doesn't purchase, though, so it's important to add the necessary robots file to keep it from being indexed in Google. It also doesn't prevent people from sharing the link, but there's nothing to keep them from emailing an ebook either, so you decide what's important and focus on that.

Thanks. That sounds nice and easy. I was always afraid of payment gateways requiring too much work but this one sounds good, for landing pages at least.
