Well I guess they done well in building the hype - let's just hope the update that seems to be happening now will resolve these issues.

If not they're going to be feeling the heat in the kitchen for the next few weeks from p1ssed of webmasters.

What happens if you click your own ads by accident should i report it or does it automatically become 0 dollars because of the pending approval. Because i cant get ahold of there technical support!

I'm seeing RPC adjusted downward also. And the amount varies by day and by website. Based on my understanding, the initial RPC in red is only an estimate (perhaps a network-wide average?), and the final RPC they pay is based on the conversion rate. So if your visitors click and never buy then your RPC gets knocked way down. The concept isn't all that different than so-called smart pricing with Adsense. Low conversion rates result in lowered RPC.

I'm currently getting .09 to .15 per click in the Pet Fish and Health Care categories, not that great but 2X to 3X the RPC I get with Adsense. CTR is much higher than Adsense, at least until visitors develop blindness to the flashy widget.

It depends on actually how much your traffic are converting to sales, though its a CPC program, but they do care about the sales as they pay higher for you. I have seen fluqtuation several times with them, they give me an average .37$ RPC, and i get .45$ RPC at the end of the approval (Most of the days). Three days i got .34$ .35$ and .38$. I have also seen one important fact is the CTR. If it is not too high, your RPC is going to raise at a good possibility :)

This isnt PPC. Widgetbucks is a scrwed up PPC program which has a mix of affiliate marketing with pay per click model. This model leaves them with the choice to play around with your click price anytime they want.

This is NOT the way PPC works. If you are talking about conversions, then if there are no conversions WB will pay you 0.01-0.05 cents then why cry foul that WB is better than adsense? Adsense pays you 0.05 cents for some crap clicks anyways.

If you think you are converting then why not switch to affiliate ads rather than running a scrwed up third party PPC network which calculates your conversions and update your earnings. If at all, you site is converting, you would get paid $10-$100 per conversion.

    Does that makes sense?

If adsense doesn't do that, then why would WB do that?

Well, because WB is not that 'big'.. so.. they should 'naturally' have the time to 'be active here' eh..??

What's the point of all this bumbling, and rumbling, and all?
Do you think ranting like this will help? Will it bring those earnings back? Will it compensate your loss?

They won't scam publishers. They have nifty way to take your commission 'legally' :) but that's also the case with many advertising networks.

    *sigh*
People just can't sit still eh?

If you're with Adsense, you scream about being banned illegally because you were just 'testing' your ads to see if they worked :D

If you're with WB, you rant about the fact that they are not paying you for same IP clicks.

    People ain't ever happy eh..??
