SERP Tracking

Hi All,

I am looking for a good tool to track SERPs for specific keywords. I have been using Digital Points keyword tracking tool until now. But SOAP based queries are always limited to 1000, while I have more than 45000 keywords to track. Could you please suggest a tool which could do a competent job, if you know of any?

No matter what you have to use the Google API do you not? And I think that's what limits the daily reqs, not the SOAP

 

You could get Google result outside the api, it's able to get millions of keywords for sure. However, I've read somewhere that the technique is violating Google's TOS.

I wonder if Google will ban certain website which does this thing. If it isn't, I would put my custom checker online.

Any idea on Google's action?

 

why not try to do it manualy to have an accurate result...

Don't even need to track. Just enter your website and it will show you exactly where you rank for many different keywords.

 

I heard, that automatic SERP tracking services might ruin your serps... google don't like 'em.

 

Well SEODigger is doing it for everyone regardless of if you want them to or not. I don't think they'd do it if it hurt your SERPs.

 

I've just tested SEODigger.

It's not like what you've said. They are working per your request, so no, they don't analyze data if not asked. I've seen similar tools from other website, so I'm familiar with how it actually works.

When I tested it, it is said that my site is in top 5 for a certain keyword and top 10 for another keyword. When I searched for it, it's not there. Maybe datacenter problem. However, that should mean that I should get little traffic from those top 5 and top 10. Apparently, I don't receive it. So, quite dubious imo.

It says on their webpage:

"Seodigger works by building a reverse index.

First 20 SERP results are saved from the 60 million search request. Then, a "backward index" of the search engine is built, linking sites with keywords these sites can be found by."

It's pretty confusing, their english, but to me it seems that they store it in a database. If they were working per request, they would not give inaccurate results. But if they stored it in a db, that db info could get outdated and hence you weren't able to find it in google.

I don't know.. anyways a useful tool regardless

 

Try also this SERP tool. It's a nice tool I've been using this for about 6 months.
