    Hi there,

I am noticing that for the past 3 days Google is removing my crawled and traffic generating pages from it's index.

Can anyone tell me please that why it's happening and how to fix it?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Regards

Well if you are doing any of the following then you might be getting de-indexed..

    • Selling Link
    • Spamming Google
    • Duplicate content (in terms of stealing content from others)
    • Serp Spam (spamming irrelevant serps)
    • Getting links from bad neighborhoods

    Hi Gnet,

    thanks for your reply.

I have seen the same behavior in the past when Google removed about 30-40% pages. But after 10 days all these pages were again added in Google's main index and brought a good stream of traffic.

Secondly, I have nothing to do with the following as I have completely unique and regularly updated website.

    * Selling Link
    * Spamming Google
    * Duplicate content (in terms of stealing content from others)
    * Serp Spam (spamming irrelevant serps)
    * Getting links from bad neighborhoods

I want to know why de-indexing and re-indexing happens.

    Regards

In that case you have to see who's your competitor for the main keywords you rank for. Google 'sometimes' de-indexes sites that are not producing quality content for the keywords they rank for or are considered inactive.

And don't only check your indexed pages in one datacenter try proxies for a simpler way of checking indexed pages or just use a multi-dc indexed page checker to see the changes that are being made.

If you have made any changes to the site (meta/title..etc) then the pages are merely being deleted from the index and re-indexed again so that the info is up to date.

    bushib -
This recently happened to me. The # of indexed pages went down for a few days, then came back up. I would say be patient.

Aha The BIG GOOGLE never makes mistakes you think.
Buship this is happening to me too.The reason is the proxies have hijacked my pages and now I am nowhere at the serps and google is deindexing my pages they went from 1000 to 300 in a week.
Google can not take its eyes from paid links and the bad guys are free to do what ever they want.
One my opponents is using hidden text in a table and he is alive for 5 months at the top at this age , peeeehhh google.

    Hi there,

How can I know that what wrong I am doing with my website.? I don't have any duplicate content, bad neighborhood, links selling or doing spam.

So de-indexing is strange to me?

Make a search with your domain name if it is bushibdomain.com
search for bushibdomain where are you ranking ? Check who is ranking higher than you.
And also check your main pages title on google.
See if any proxies hijacked your site and made them indexed.

There's a reason why you have been de-indexed...
Have you done something naughty that Google detects it?
    Have you change your title?
    or your domain maybe...:p

Don't panic, this happens frequently. If you are sure that you have done nothing wrong you should not worry, at least for some days. They are probably updating the index and your pages will be back soon.

Would it be possible that someone else has duplicated content from you (i.e. nicked your website) and -sadly- you are penalised for duplicate content (i.e. Google is punishing the wrong person)?
