    FYI Casino sites that pay $290 are not spam ,page strength 6 and pr6 ,i guess people have to find something negative to say about it.

    Pagestrenght seems to fluctuate - the tool is not very accurate.
    Pagestrenght for one of my dirs is somewhere between 5 and 6
    and pagestrenth for my bidding directory varies between 4,5 and 5,5

    I dont think so. There must be some backlinks but, google does not necessary show all your backlinks when searched using link:yoursite.com

    PS is another system about which in many previous Threads it has been well documented that it is flawed and next to useless system

    And as such it is misleading to say the least :eek:

    Many factors are used to decide if submission to a directory is worthy, and PageStrength only considers a few of these factors - such as backlink count and domain visibility.

    Therefore it isnt much use to judge a web directory on its PageStrength.

    I think www.directoryrate.com is a much better algorithm as it considers things like content, editorial inegrity and then external factors like backlinks etc to produce what seems to be the best metric around - DR score.
