WidgetBucks is Slowly Going Downhill Literally

Hey Guys,

I have been backing up WidgetBucks from day one, I have been supporting them against all the negative comments and threads.

Now I am seeing some disturbing trends, seems the more traffic and clicks I get the more the Price Per Click contiues to fall.


Figures for Yesterdays Merchsense : You will see that's not to bad for 1300 impressions, and may get some a little excited.


Last Weeks : Ok now it starts to get to reality, you can see the Price Per Click has halved.


Now this was last months : can you see a trend ? Seems the more clicks and longer I keep the Widgets on my site the more the Price Per Click tumbles.

Now I am slowly getting p1ssed, I was under the impression that black meant it was a final figure, I didn't realise your black approved figure would continually fall with more impressions and clicks that I make.

I was thinking that I could use the Black final figures to establish a Return On Investment.

Obviously not.

 

I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that your RPC numbers are being adjusted again after they have turned black?

My RPC last month was $.36, but I was only in the program for 20 days last month. My "black" RPC for this month is $.35.

Tumbling RPC may be a sign that you site is simply not a good match for WidgetBucks.

 

Yeah I am confused also,
This weeks black (confirmed total) was 13cents.

As it appears above I'd expect this weeks to stay at the 13cent mark, but I have a feeling - that Black total will decrease aswell to the 9cents, just seems odd as above - it goes red 28 cents, 13 cents weekly, then 9cents as month total.

I am sending Quality traffic from US and the UK - about 60%.

Seems the longer I am active with WB and the older the stats the more they decrease, also the higher the CTR the more they tend to drop.

 

My earnings became 0 cents, when I looked into my account.

Serval hours ago, it was more than $3 today, and $3 yesterday.

Anything wrong with their server?

 

Yeah there's been a few reports of this - including my own, yesterdays and todays have gone blank.

Maybe they're updating our ernings and or payments.

Hope they don't drop again.

 

I think something is wrong with their database.

I believe that widgetbucks is planning to pay us a fix $3-$6 CPM and no more and no less. They might say that they are a PPC prrogram, I feel that they are a CPM program with a better CPM rate.

 

Yes I believe so .... that's crap though. It really is. Makes sense as that's exactly what's happening, my earnings are being reduced dramaticaly to fit into the $6 cpm range- making my clicks worth 9cents.

But as for the no less - I have widgets that aren't making a dime - if this is the case, then they increase my CPM for these to the minumum of $3 - if they're going to play it this way.

I had tremendous traffic, if you start making too much... they'll just delete any history of your success...

Mmmm but dude you had close to 50% click through rate, of course they will question that, it's insane - any ad' network is going to question that. I am surprised that they didn't ban you.

 

Hey Dude ... all your figures are still in RED... get back to the forum with a screenshot when you dont have your figures in RED

 

I dont like thsadmins pics cause those are in black and with a reasonable click rate.

But Jxtatics, that is an insane click through...I am also supprised they didnt ban you. Wow I couldnt even imagine a click through like that....I would question myself at that point.

But back on subject, have you contacted them thsadmin? I would call them or email them and ask them what the deal is about that? Maybe they will revert it back? Never hurts to ask.

Nah I haven't contacted them yet and it really is p1ssing me off, I will wait and see what this new change is - that's causing our stats to show 0s.

But yeah - I am targetting US and UK with 60% of the traffic, but to drop 20cents a click - just sucks - it's one third of of the original value.

Like someone mentioned it looks like if you go above the $6cpm then they will retard your cpc to within that range - hence why it's at 9cents because it fits perefectly in $6cpm now.

haha, seems like the only way to make money on here is to get your RPC down to 1 cent and get massive traffic/clicks

I JUST F*CKING NOTICED THIS! Stupid me. I had one site making a couple dollars a day with WidgetBucks... ok... great... RPC was a bit better than AdSense, but CTR on AdSense was better. I figured I try it on my test site for 2 weeks... I check back to see how much I made in the two weeks and the rates went DOWN a LOT. I went from an average of ~$5/day to an updated of ~.20cents-1.50. I felt so stupid for not noticing. I updated my sites layout and kept WidgetBucks there, but not as the main advertising banner. I log in 10 hours later, 0 impressions logged by Widgetbucks.

It's no biggie for the loss of $20, but I would have been really angry if I implemented WidgetBucks throughout my sites and the update went down as much as it did.

 

Yes they need to decide if they're a PPC or CPM ad' network, I bet you within the month they will go CPM.

They can't have a Bogus CPC the way it is now, if they're going to deduct your earnings to fit within $6cpm then that's exactly what they should be saying.

It's to late for me to pull the pin now though - I have 2 months pre-booked in ad's - one month previous and til the end of november.

I just started to trial another CPM network theNEWSROOM at least they're up front and gives me something to fall back on.

 

My stats were really really low and I took them off,

but Jxstatic's stats make me want to get back to them ... are they genuine ??

 

No offence to the guy but 40%-50% Click through rate - somethings gotta be up.
