    google doing gr8 with me , gmail working here ,, check your Dns Stuff for your connection may be you have some problems that make you can't browse :)

    Gmail is very popular nowadays - explains the peak hour rush it faces.

    For business purposes, one should go for a less-common email ID with less chances of spamming. I use AOL and USA.net which give very good service.
