Pakistan in emergency rule

Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf has defended his decision to declare emergency rule, saying he could not allow the country to commit suicide.

May be a good step, atleast to check the growing fundamenatlism there.

 

This has nothing to do with growing fundamentalism, it all has to do with the fact that he says the judicial was hostile towards him.

I guess he wants immunity?

 

This guy will get ousted soon enough, this is probably the last straw for his people.

 

Is their any other alternative right now. People call Benazir a whore , Nawaz a corrupt person who else?

 

The militants are just waiting for the right moment in the moutains, soon the taliban will be a nuclear power.

 

True ! they have to be stopped and I feel only a person with military might will be able to stop them

 

You don't need to force your beliefs with the tip of the sword, thats why this whole world is messed up to begin with.

It is a complex problem and I don't see that the problem of fundamentatilsm can be done away without use of force, offcourse other measures have to be taken care of
