How important is content in SERPS?

in my opnion content plays important role
it waste of time just updating content you alss need to build backlinks


SERPs=content+backlinks

 

230 pages should get you where you want to be, and definitely. Everyone talks of getting IBLs but conveniently forgets the OBLs are equally critical in a world of democratic WEB

So, concentrate on both and keep adding content regularly.

Ofcourse YES! the content of a website plays the most imp role in SERPs. And you hv a blog on boxing videos which means fresh content each day which is also what the big G really likes. Keep adding fresh content and you would definitely see good results coming in for sure. But that does not mean you should not be building links those are imp. as well. Cant just depend on content for SERPs. For a car to run smoothly all the parts should be working at thr best.

I suggest one thing, you check the keyword weight and make sure it doesnt have too much of keyword density. You can have up to 10% of keyword weight.

You guys are dead wrong! content means very little. Just do a Google search for "click here" and see what comes up.. It's backlink anchor text that matters the most.

I think you are confused with SEO and link bulding. Linkbuilding help to increase page rank to rank higher. SEO will help to rank for keywords to which you have optimized.

Hey Guru, Imagine a product selling a without label and I'm not dead wrong my keywords came from my content all organic I have targeted keyword that I link build but still the keyword at my content give much traffic.

 

directory links are best for your site exposure, however when it comes to content make use of your keywords so that the spider will find you site relevant enough...

as for your blog post question, good quality link will do... as long as you keep links which are related to you then everything will be going smoothly...

Google uses both links and on page content to determine serp position, I'm just saying external links are more important. Heck, I could get your site to rank for blue widgets if I wanted to. (I would just put a link on my PR7 site)

 

content is king, write good articals you will rank well, the best part of writing a good artical is that, that is what google is looking for, as technology gets better they will weed out people who are in it to make money rather than provide good content, there will always be tricks but eventually artical writers will have the last laugh

 

Its all about the Quality of your content + some backlinks.. if you have both of them then u wil be ranked higher even if u have less posts......
