Do You Squidoo?

There was a lot of talk about Squidoo not being as valuable anymore but I tend to disagree. I created a lens about 6 weeks ago and the lens has had over 400 visits with 1/4 of those visits clicking through to my site.

Do you use Squidoo? What has been your experience with Squidoo?

I use Squidoo for longtail keywords. Good quality lenses are still very valuable and can perform well, getting you some extra traffic.

Many of my affiliates promote my products with squidoo and generate hops/sales because of it - it's nowhere near dead...

Are you sure it's worth your time to create a lens just to get an extra 2 visitors per day to your website? I know it's not worth my time.

Over all I think it has been worth it. I agree, Squidoo is not dead.

I use it and I love it.

I'm also using Hubpages a lot too.

Both are powerful tools in my online revenue toolbox.

Anyone who isn't catching what I am talking about here just check the 4th link in my signature. I think a good quality lens is well worth it.

Register with squidoo and then create a lens. Don't worry about adding everything to it right away. Make your lens topic related to your website and post links to your site. Once you have it up and ready I can give you some ideas to promote the lens.

It's another relevant site you can create in order to link to the site your promoting. I have a whole series of these I use to get my brand new site ranked in google within 24 hours.

Yeah, Squidoo works great, but it's best if you invest some time in it. Good lenses tend to get the most attention.

I've just started my first lens, but from what I have seen the potential looks good. It took me about an hour to make my lens. I then pinged it and it went from 200,000 rank to 12,000. Since about a week ago, i've gotten only 22 visits, but I haven't touched it since then.

Squidoo is great. I've had zero success with Hubpages, google seems to ignore it.

Care to share a link to your Hubpages? I'm always interested in seeing what is, and even what isn't, working.
