    If Google Analytics is not working from you it's probably down to the code that you have to insert in your pages - have you done this? There is a facility on the Analytics site that tells you how to test the code I believe...

    stat counter for some pages - the drill down tools are phenom - like seeing which IP hit your contact page -
    google and aw stats take care of the trending -

    I use awstats and occasionally analytics. I've actually coded a multisite awstats script that pulls lots of data for each of my domains onto a single page...now i don't have to visit each domain's awstats page ;)
