My new forum

I just started working on a new forum. I was hoping you guys could check it out and tell me what you think.

Any mods that should be added? And forum changes? Thanks.

 

Something to tell people why they should advertise.
Something unique to your forum.

 

I haven't even started with the content yet. I will be running contests. Posting videos. Ect.

 

Put a message saying that.

 

My feedback:

- Logo and header look good, just a bit dark and unable to see the detail in them
- Overall the site is a bit dark, and the grayscale on gray/black is pretty tough to read. The orange works, so keep using that

I had a chance to look at your forum tonight. Its a nice clean and dark template. Good choice for the audience you are wanting to attract.

My Thoughts

Logo
Your logo is beautiful but I feel it needs to be bigger. It seems to get lost in the template design. If you make it bigger... it will definitely stand out and say who you are!

Slogan
You could use a slogan in your header section describing your forum. Example: 'Halo 3 Extremist Gamer Forum'

Navigation Buttons
Excellent navigation buttons but the font is a little to small. Enlarge them just a bit more... but not to much to take away from the effect you are trying to grasp.

SEO
I'm not the best in SEO but would suggest that you try some tricks. Do a check in with the SEO section of these forums. There are some good people there... and it doesn't hurt to ask for some advise...

My only advise on this is to change the format of your HTML title. Your title attracts quite a bit of attention so you could do the best with this.

'Vain Gaming - Powered by vBulletin'

Suggested Change
'Halo 3 Extremist Gamers Forum - VainGaming.com'

Also, keep an eye out in the freebie section. I've been putting out my 4 signature spots for free. Good way to attract some gamers to your site if yours is picked.
