If you reg anything now it should go up within the year.

SPECIAL NOTE-big props to GreenGambler for starting this thread and showing the way. If you had grabbed a few decent ones when he started this thread you'd be able to flip them today for profit. Not much profit maybe but you'd still be up.

I have also +Rep'd you.

So what do you have to say to the people who missed this opportunity?

Too Bad or Too Register LLLLL.com's?

What should be our next investment?

    Next investment?

    LLLL.com's in the aftermarket or
LLL.in 's (beware of the higher renewal fees)

Yep, all the LLLL.com's are gone!! Yippee!! Hope you grabbed your's like we all did!! It's going to take weeks to hit people by the masses :D
    Darn, why didn;t I buy ANY LLLL.com?

Next investments will take place around March 2008 when the .ME TLD is released!

Think about it & the combinations:

    Hug.me
    Kiss.me
    Love.me
    Loan.me
    Web.me
    Call.me

You get the point.. Good Luck! BTW.. Has anyone heard news about a press release & NamePro's Thread by VURG to countdown the LLLL.com's? It's gotta be on the way!

I'd take a 6 letter domain name that I can pronounce over a gibberish LLLL anyday

Wow.. I missed all the excitement!..
I didn't even realize that LLLL,s were running out till I read this thread right now!
I picked on up a while ago (uvrx) that I didn't know what to do with.
    Lucky I guess....
Now after a quick search I now know that UvrX is a UV damage repair protein that is believed to be part of the endogenous bacteriophage SPβ (24), and it has 25% identity to the E. coli DinB protein ...

I wonder how popular endogenous bacteriophage SPβ is in google searches:rolleyes:

Thanks I will look forward to this.

Thanks, I will register LLL.in's but what do you consider "high renewal fees". is WSDREG one of them? Couldn't you just transfer the domain later to a different registrar before you have to renew?

    DMOZ - a 4 letter domain
Bwin - also 4 letter (imagine that it is much shrter than Betandwin ... easier to type... and many more...

For a 6 letter domain there is less potential that it will be an acronym... but for LLLL's .. not ...

In terms of brandability I guess 5 letters are better than ugly LLLL's

No worries man, now that they are all sold out you can try visiting the forum and website aftermarkets.. All names have continued to be registerd, all drops, if any, get picked up and the decrease in availability was steady. I believe they will all stay registered for a long long time. Get them now because in a year or so they will be resale for alot more $$ IMO

Depends on the 6 letter domain and that might carry the same price as a llll.com, but everything is a matter of opinion.

    Thanks dannbkk:)

You'll find that DP is nothing like Namepros, I've found people here on DP very rarely give reps unlike Namepros. At least over there if you give people appraisals, you might get some reps but here, you'd be very lucky. Anyway, that's what I've found.

I think the renewals are like $13.95 or similar

I've noticed the same thing.. LOL seems you have to have rep to get rep.. like people are expecting you to give it back in return.. haha

So how about the aftermarkets now? Has anyone had any real good buys latley at low-low prices?

I have sold a few of my names in the aftermarkets so-far but only to help me pay some bills. LOL I gotta do what I gotta do..
