Actually it's STI's now Sexually transmitted Infections but that was a waste of post on my part like it matters we all get the point :/
And of all the irony, the link seller I'm quoting ( jg123 ) is one of those who misrepresents himself when there's profit involved.
If you buy long term placements on a site with good traffic, related to your subject, then I think it is worthwhile, even if the pagerank drops during the term you have the link. Buying for PR won't do you much good if the link is hidden away at the bottom of the page, or on a site that is barely related to yours, but if you can get a link that sends you good traffic, then it's a different matter.
try to buy permanent links and as everyone already said for traffic purposes. Look at the PR juice as a bonus that you may or may not receive with the traffic it is generating.
HAHAHAHA.... yeah... this makes no sense. what kind of website owner wouldn't purchase direct links to his her website it's like saying no no get away traffic you make my website slow noo, seriously cmon what are you going to take PR or traffic. pfff end of conversation Traffic FTW!!
You don't need to buy links to build PR. My newest websites all received PR5 with the update with no link purchasing.
yeah and I seen this cool blog about how they might be re doing the PR due to mistakes. I don't think it's mistakes I think it's Google pissing of everyone with the money and now they have to make things better.
Alexander, just wondering why your account shows banned? i have see few other profiles with banned status and was thinking that could be one of the status like peon, grunt, etc but come to think of it, i have seen accounts with various diff post levels having banned on their profile. for sure its not banned account otherwise posrs would be taken off. anyone else knows?
I was curious about that as well... I have seen a number of profiles like that. I don't think it is a good thing though... because a few of the profiles that I have seen like that were posting questionable content, or do something of a questionable nature.
when you buy links dont go for home page sitewide links, look for internal content pages that are very relevant to the subject of your website, and forget about the pr, relevancy is the key. good luck.
Many directories, blogs and forums took PR hits in the last update. I'm unsure of what you bought, but if it was one of those, then you are not alone in the losses. Think of how the site owners feel Though, the PR6 site is a different story, and one I can not explain unless I know the site (and the story behind the site)... Another thing I have noticed in the last PR update, is how you are looking at the link. Take a look at the PR here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/ Now take a look at it here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/index.php On several sites I visit daily all used to match between / and /index.php now they are all different. Google diddled their numbers and I'm unsure if it will correct itself, or if this is a correction. Honestly I liked the other way better.
I havnt' bought any.. yet. But I know that you do have to be smart about it, choose your sellers carefully and read Itrader feedback. Also be sure to look over the persons account, there previous posts and topics. See how often and what the quality of their postings are. I don't see anythin wrong with buying or selling links on DP myself.
I don't think its a bad idea..but I think if you want to buy links then you should mix it up with some organic links. Paid links is only a temporary solution if that. I am pretty sure that if a site took up a very aggressive paid link building campaign Google may well penalize them by removing indexed pages from their SERPs.... Narender Pal Singh
