If you mean domain names with pr already you have to find them. You will be bidding against others and companies. It is not easy to get a good name with pr.

Really? I'm waiting on a domain to get released, i don't know what the PR was before but it's showing as 0 now, and when I check backlinks it has at least 5 PR4-5 and many other various PR's, so I'm just expecting(hoping) that the PR will be put back when its registered again

when the domain drops and if it has valid PR (with backlinks) it will retain most of the PR value through the next update, as long as these valid backlinks remains.

You will need to make sure that the dropped domain has a vaild PR and has some valid backlinks as well. That is the only way it will be worth anthing above reg fees :D

What are the best ways to check PR? Right now I just use a firefox addon and checkpagerank.com but never shows anything for domains expiring/expired

This is something I never heard before....I mean yeah...OH...ah....Quiet a cheap practice...You should better go by the relevant domain name and focuss on the quality content and better optmization ...this will be more fruitful than the other such practices.

You could always buy soon-to-bee expired domains with pagerank, before they drop. See my sig for a list.

The domains in the list will not drop before you get them, plus they will only cost you less than $20.

    Hello,
You can check www.expireddomainup.com to find out expiring domains, then you can buy or bid these domains in the registrants, then in if you win the bid, in 20 days you have ready the expired domain :)

    Best,
    Jakomo

I just realized that the domain (and other ones I was looking at with good PR backlinks) would've been down during the recent PR update, that would make sense then right? Just gotta wait for the next update (but who knows when that'll be)

    btw, nice link tamen

Yes, there was a big one. Google stomping down on link-sellers. Lotsa people lost lots of pagerank. But some of it was reinstated.

    Google moves in mysterious ways.
